Go Digitally Versatile with Nikon D3

Introduction: Nikon D3, a cornucopia of stunning features has taken SLRs to a different level with its top-notch technology and design. Several new features have been added to this single-lens reflex camera to enable it to perform speedily than its earlier counterparts. It is in fact, considered to be the first DSLR with Fx format from the Nikon series.

Features: The Active D-lighting feature, unique to Nikon takes care of your lighting and contrast settings. By balancing the contrast, lightening up the shadowy parts and tweaking the highlights, it tries to produce an even tone on the overall image. With the live view features you can now shoot good pictures even amidst hundreds of people and also in aloof places with the help of a tripod. There is also a Virtual Horizon Graphic indicator; apparently the first of its kind in the digital world and this indicates the angle at which your camera is tilted from the so-called horizon level.

Pros:

?  The auto exposure option of this device is shockingly perfect leaving no room for improvement from your side. The four exposure modes offered work accurately under any kind of light conditions, adjusting them to the right degree from time to time.
?   The LCD screen made of tempered glass is of 3” size and is supposedly scratch-proof offering great comfort to the user while handling it. Its apparent resolution 922,000 pixels offer powerful images that are stunningly colorful and sharp for viewing.
? Excluding few older version of lenses, D3 works in unison with most of the F mount lenses that are available today.

Cons:

? Raw buffer of 16-17 frames does not account for much when you are seriously considering action photography.
? The pop-up flash feature went missing in this camera.
? When used in combination with the lenses that are not produced by the original manufacturer, the automatic DX crop feature might not function properly.

Pricing Range: Achieve film-like pictures in action photography with this D-SLR for just 4,700$-4,999$. You’ll never be disappointed!

Final Verdict: Whether you want to shoot a sports event or capture the glimpses of wildlife this Digital Camera wouldn’t disappoint you. This camera performs exceptionally in low-light environments making it ideal for indoor shooting and night-time weddings. Buy it today to capture those moments that can never be rolled back but in your camera!
