Enjoy Mega-Zoom Advantage with Fujifilm FinePix JZ300!

Introduction:

Fujifilm FinePix JZ300, a recent addition to the FinePix series falls under the category of a megazoom camera and has a sturdy, serious feel to it. This not-so-compact device can be easily fitted into any bag to be carried along wherever you go.  The JZ300 packs 40 MB internal memory and its storage capacity is further extended by its compatibility with SD/SDHC memory cards.

Features:

Of the bevy of features hosted by Fujifilm FinePix JZ300, the Dual Image Stabilization feature and the Tracking Auto Focus options play a major role in rendering flawless images. When the user gets confused about the use of flash, he can use Natural light with flash mode and take different shots of the same scene with and without flash and ultimately retain whichever he prefers.

Pros:

  • Capture still images in 16:9 format without missing the tiniest detail. Not just still images, you can even enjoy recording movies with 1,280 x 720 HD resolution at the rate of 24 frames per second which can be viewed on a full-screen HDTV for a better advantage.
  • Now you can print, magnify, chop, edit or do anything with your pictures until you are satisfied. Thanks to the whopping 12 megapixels resolution, you can enjoy greater flexibility in sizing up your photos.
  • The JZ300 portrays the trend-setting Fujinon lens that has been the trade -mark of Fujifilm for quite some time. Objects positioned at a distance and any such far away action can be captured in great detail with the 10x optical zoom lens.

Cons:

  • The camera lacks a true optical viewfinder.
  • The JZ300 offers restricted compatibility and fails to support the new SDXC memory cards.
  • The biggest disappointment with this camera is its lack of HDMI port.
  • Focus tends to fail if you try to use zooming function while filming a video.

Pricing Range: Expand your shooting capabilities with this camera by paying just $159-$199. Available in Black & Silver!

Final Verdict: Fujifilm FinePix JZ300 fares well considering the rare options it portrays in spite of their mediocre performance and the affordable price tag it carries. This device is muddled with menus and options and wading through them to achieve a decent photo can be an uphill task for many. Performance-wise this camera is much the same as other entry-level models; the only distinguishing factor is the multitude of options adorning this camera.
