Nikon D 700- A Sure Winner

Introduction: Nikon D 700, a Digital Camera with built-in-pop-up flash renders professional image quality that surpasses the expectations of a normal Nikonian.  Though this model has struggled deliberately to break free from its conventional comparison with the earlier versions of D3 and D300, it would only be fair to say that not much success has been achieved in that front.

Features: In spite of bearing a strong resemblance to D3 and D300 models, D 700 definitely exhibits some improvement and variation in its features and menu controls making it a strong contender to its rivals. Let’s take a look at some of its features:  The most prominent feature of Nikon D 700 is its Fx format which enables you to enjoy wide-angled images that are totally free of crop aspect. Even its rugged body offers you nice grip and an element of undeniable charm to it. Two Live view shooting modes and 3D focus tracking feature available with this camera offer you multiple options to define the way your picture should look in the end. Though its balanced burst rate cannot compete with that of D3, it is an ideal one in general.

Pros:

• Fares well in high ISO shooting environment and now you can shoot freely without having to worry about noise even at 6400 sensitivity.
• Agility, FX format and protection from dust and moisture are the main highlights of the D700 model.
• Speed is the reigning mantra with this product; you can shoot 8 frames per second, a speed that is by no means less professional.

Cons:

• Nikon D 700 is fairly expensive than several other digital cameras of the same caliber making it an unaffordable option for many.
• The wider angle lens that comes equipped with this camera might be inadequate for many. In order to fill the gap, you might have to shed more bucks just to purchase more telephoto lenses.
• The buffer is too small for storing RAW footage and the viewfinder offers only 95% coverage which is tad less in comparison with the other D series cameras.

Pricing Range: Pay 2,369$-   2, 699$ to own this DSLR with Fx format today!

Final Verdict: Nikon D700 with its small size and less weight is the best lightweight Nikon camera of the entire D series. Combining several best features from both D3 and D300 models; Nikon D 700 relatively costs less and can be considered a worthy successor to both the models in many aspects. Buy it today to enjoy the best of Nikon!
